Van City Seaplanes Reservation and Cancellation Policy

• -Full payment is required upon booking.
• -Changes made on the same day of booking (within 24 hours) are not subject to a change fee.
• -Changes made after the day of booking (after 24 hours) are subject to a $25.00 (+applicable taxes) change fee and a difference in fare if applicable for each passenger/fare.
• -Day of sales are all final sale. 
• -Cancellations made on the same day of booking (within 24 hours) are fully refundable to original form of payment.
• -Cancellations made after the same day of booking (after 24 hours) will be subject to a $25.00 fee (+ applicable taxes) with the remainder being placed in a credit file valid for one year from date of creation for each passenger/fare.
• -Cancellations made after same day of booking (after 24 hours) but within 48 hours of flight time will be subject to a $50.00 fee (+ applicable taxes) with the remainder being placed in a credit file valid for one year after the date of creation for each passenger/fare.
• -Tickets are fully transferable for a $50.00(+ applicable tax) fee for each passenger/fare.
• -Credit files are valid for one year after date of creation.
• -If Van City Seaplanes is forced to cancel your flight due to weather conditions, or is unable to honour your reservation, you will be issued a travel voucher to be used within one year after date of creation. Van City Seaplanes will make an attempt to try and re-book your flight for the next available opportunity, weather and availability permitting. 
• -In the event of mechanical unservicability of Van City Seaplanes aircraft, Van City Seaplanes reserves the right to book passengers on other carriers, rebook passengers on the next available Van City Seaplanes flight, and when no other methods of transport are available Van City Seaplanes will offer full refund to the original form of payment. 
• -In the event of a weather cancellation, if you the passenger makes alternate arrangements for travel, they will be issued a travel voucher to be used within one year after date of creation. 
• -It is strongly recommended to reconfirm your reservation details either by phone or e-mail 24-48 hours prior to departure.
• -For Charter flights, full payment must be paid at the time of booking.   
• -Cancellation of individual fares is not permitted within 24 hours of departure.
• -Cancellation of Charter flights is not permitted within 48 hours of departure.
• -Charter flights may be permitted to sell additional unused seats, discounts to charter flights will be issued as credit on account to original charter booking at a rate of 50% of funds received for unused seats and/or unused legs of the flight. 
• -Cancellation of Charter flights within the permitted period are subject to a 15% cancellation fee and remaining balance to be put on account with Van City Seaplanes for the customer's future use. 
• -Passengers arriving less than 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time may be denied boarding.
• -Customers who do not show up for their flight will forfeit the full fare paid with only one exception:
  • -Major Medical Emergency
     
• Single Passenger Policy
  By accepting Single Passenger Terms and Conditions, you accept that flights will not be offered when only one fare is collected. It is not economically viable for Van City Seaplanes to offer flights where only one passenger fare is collected. For that reason, you as the customer have the option to pay for the minimum two fares for the Cessna Aircraft or the minimum of five fares to operate the Beaver aircraft. Or you as the customer can agree to be flexible on time, date etc to allow for Van City Seaplanes personnel to arrange additional passengers to fly with you to the same destination or alternate destinations close by.
  
  These terms and conditions represent an attempt by Van City Seaplanes to offer lowest cost Seaplane travel possible for you the customer. We appreciate your business and your choice to travel with us.
