Come learn to fly seaplanes with Van City Seaplanes! We offer float training on all our aircraft in our fleet. For new seaplane pilots, we operate a beautifully appointed Cessna 172 M on Edo 2130 floats with a 160hp RAM converted engine. For high performance training we offer our Cessna 182 and de Havilland Beaver aircraft. 

Our mandate for float ratings and seaplane training is to offer the highest quality seaplane training possible for you, the pilot. Teachers and mentors for the seaplane training are industry pilots who have thousands of hours of experience online flying for a living. All training is designed with operational flying in mind. Fly a float plane like a professional and do it with confidence backed up by skill and proper techniques. Seaplane flying should be done well and with confidence that we can instill with you through proper techniques and knowledge. The most common mistake of a new seaplane pilot is failure to recognize a hazard. Without recognition, how can we expect to react and act accordingly?
